Mount Vernon Country Club is available for private golf outings. Our full-service facility guarantees that you and your guests will have a memorable tournament in a private club setting.

Outing services include complete food & beverage service including a beverage cart on the course, a variety of on-course contests, scoring, Pro Shop prize credits, sponsor sign placement and full access to the driving range for practice the day of your event. These are just a few of the services we provide to make your tournament run smoothly!

Attending an Outing at Mount Vernon County Club?

Dress Code: Approrpriate attire is required when using the golf facilities. Golfing attire for men and women must conform to contemporary fashions for golf. Members are responsible for the attire of their guests.

 

Types of clothing considered inappropriate for golf include: jeans of any type or color; cut-offs; gym, tennis or running shorts; bathing suits; sweat or warm-up suits; wide mesh shirts and sport jerseys. Shorts must have pockets and be no more than five inches above the knee. Caps must be worn bill forward. For men and boys, shirts must have collars and sleeves, and be tucked in. For ladies and girls, halter tops, strapless tops and bare midriffs are prohibited. Shirts: if the shirt does not have a collar, it must have sleeves; if it does not have sleeves, it must have a collar. Shoes must be appropriate for golf and metal spikes are prohibited.

 

The dress code will be enforced on the golf facilities by the golf professional and his staff. Members, their guests and participants in outings at the Club who are improperly attired will be required to change to acceptable golfing attire to use the golf facilities.
