Mount Vernon Country Club has the unique distinction of being the only country club situated on one of George Washingtons original five farms. Located today on what was George Washingtons Union Farm, we occupy 115 acres of the sprawling 8,000 acres that comprised the original Mount Vernon estate.

On the eve of Americas Semiquincentennial, MVCC is delighted to announce a year filled with unique America 250 special events. In partnership with America250, George Washingtons Mount Vernon and the Virginia State Golf Association (VSGA), MVCC will promote our distinctive place in the history of our nations founding with events for all ages and all interests.

• MVCC is the first country club in the United States to be a Supporting Partner of America250! Visit the America250 website and see our logo among the impressive roster of Supporting Partners. We are so grateful to have this national visibility!
• Through our Supporting Partner status with America250, MVCC will be connected to other America250 Partners who will be featured at culinary events and speaker programs during our Semiquincentennial celebrations.
• And mark your calendar right now for July 4th when MVCC will participate in the America250 global wave at 2:50 pm on our nations 250th birthday!

MVCC and George Washingtons Mount Vernon:

• MVCC is grateful to be collaborating with George Washingtons Mount Vernon in 2026 for quarterly activities highlighting Land, History, and Culinary programming. Each of these events will be promoted in The View as well as weekly communications, so you can mark your calendars and plan to participate.
• Even more exciting, MVCC members have been offered a special rate to join George Washingtons Mount Vernon for, you guessed it, $250 for two years! This is a $200 savings over the regular price for a family membership for two years.
